I just got a pair of the modules wired up this afternoon and am having an issue with just ONE of the modules (channels) and on the 3-step volume switch only.
Whenever I adjust volume on the 3-step switch, I hear a loud click/pop. This only happens on one of the modules, and the issue moves from L to R when I swap RCA cables. The other module always volume-adjusts on the 3-step switch with no noticeable noise.
On the noisy-switch module, I have inspected the solder work carefully to see if there are any issues on that end that could cause the clicking/popping problem, but haven't found anything.
At this point, I'm thinking I may have a module with a defective 3-step switch. Is there some way to confirm this hypothesis? If it is a problem with the switch, what would be the right way to resolve the issue?

pop me a private email and i"ll get you a new set of modules.
The thing that usually causes that problem is a DC offset from the source so try switching the cables from the source to the modules to see if that changes anything.
