Remote Autoformer

I want to build a passive using your $200.00 dollar kit. I would like to have a remote for volume control. The least expensive all in one kit I've found is from DIY Hifl for $119.00. Are there other better or less expensive kits out there? I need something comprehensive, because while I can solder and have some knowledge I am a relative noob. I looked at the Dantimax kits, and found them to be more expensive and a bit confusing as to exactly which pieces I would need. I will also need a power supply for the volume control and the active crossover that I'm going to build into the same box. The Marchand XM-44 boards need 15v. Thanks for any help, and sorry for any stupid questions.
