those nickel beauties up top are the plate chokes for the driver. The driver does indeed have a nickel isolation choke underneath as well as some nice 2mil steel C-Core units
the 75TL was interesting the extra gain and power reqired to light the fils and obtain the appropriate cherry let me know what driver i was using. after about 20 minutes it quieted down but....
