Hi all!

Been long time since posted here :) ...anybody has
a reliable model of 6336B? Esp. for high volatge/low current?
One section (30W)
I've found something here:
http://www.ne.jp/asahi/evo/amp/CSPP/6336.htm
(scroll down to about 3/4 or search for "spice" on the page)
but I think it's for 2 sections.

Cheers,
jarek :) :) :)

...and 6528 :)

Here's both. Let me know how it works out. The 6336 is the "A" (5 amp heater) from the Raytheon tube curves. The 6528 likewise uses the Raytheon tube curves, although I strongly suspect those curves are in error for Vg=-20 volts and above 100mA and subtly incorrect for Vg=-50 volts, as the published shape is not "consistent".

Steve, you are the guy!
THanks!

Hee Hee Hee. No need to insult me. I haven't been a guy for a few years now. :D

Let me know if those work out OK. They seem to follow the curves reasonably well, except for what I consider a drawing error on Raytheon CK6528 curves.

BTW, here's a recent "me".

Hugs,
Stephie

Ooops! My apologies Stephie, had no idea

Steve, once again thanks for the model but I've abandoned this tube,
in favour of a simple EL34, so could not check your model in the real life :(

best,
jarek

Not a problem, I embarassed myself there for a while. Can't describe how much better I am now though.

EL34 is a pretty nice critter, and nice equally in triode mode. Tetrodes in triode offer some interesting options, since you can make the triode connection via a resistor, and that leads to some interesting changes.

Warmest Regards,
