Hey,
Just finished these up for a customer. He is driving a 45 so 2W is all that is needed and I was able to use a reasonably sized core.
attached are the frequency response plots and the inductance Vs. Current plots for various gaps.

Of course. Two sizes up makes an awesome 8W unit for a 300B! Problem is that core size needs to be stamped and as nickel gets big, it gets heavy quickly so material cost goes up. With a little luck, in the near future i'll have some big 80% which I suspect will do a killer 4W unit for a 2A3 / 50 / VT-52.
They are all EI cores, and for nickel it doesn't really matter as much since the type I use isn't grain oriented.
Drop me a PM or email about the 1:1's I need to get you for the LCR phono.

Listening to a pair as I type and I love them. Be prepared for the sticker shock though
