Transformer noobie question (nickel/amorphous)
Transformer noobie question (nickel/amorphous)
A noobie question for Dave- on your transformer page for SE output you say offered in amorphous and nickel. What is the difference between the two? Doing a search on the web turns up all sorts of information with branding, nickel percentages, etc. Thank you

Hey,
Both are low loss high perm materials. Each has their own sound. Amorphous tends to be best suited for the detail freaks and Nickel is what a tone junkie needs.
