Re: Autoformer for Klipsch crossover

This matches the 3636 transformer taps above, i believe those might be inductance values in first table. I just rememberd that I did this for the 3636. It's computer generated data. The columbs will only line up if you use a fixed pitch font. Cut and past the the table to some text editor. Al K .......

103r

It seems your familiar with the Denon 103r. What was the ideal turns ratio for this cartridge into a 47k mm stage? I have an art audio phono stage with plenty of room inside that should allow mounting of an SUT I think the Vinyl One used AN 1:10, secondary loading didn't seem to make any difference ...

That makes sense now why his amp is outputting 4.5watts without self-destructing when I tested his amp last month on the scope.
Maybe I like the 300b now with ac filament voltage?
Need to check the JJ specs now

I know your going to frown on this but I need it to have enough current to drive a 300B just in case I change my mind with the 2A3. Starting out with a JJ 2A3 tube running just under 55 ma, maybe send me the gapping material for 60-80ma My friend says you have extensive experience with the 2A3 so I ...

I'm guessing about 40% more than the ones you quoted me ,5k8r 80ma nickel
BTW- need to order a pair of trannies this week. The curves looked much better than the japanese trannies. How's the low end on the 80%?
Are you driving those Khorns?

Looking for some good iron

I'm interested in a couple SE OPT A friend of mine (Mark Mihaly from Jacksonville) has highly recommended you. I am building a 2A3 SE amp from scratch with the help of Mark since has built over 20 different designs. Mark recommends using a 5K but I'm not so sure about that yet. I haven't quite decid...
