Are you still running these bypassed Jim? Just thinking still along thermal lines, and while the average resistance of the resistor may stabilize at a specific average temperature, if current is swinging through these the resistance will vary with the current as the windings rapidly heat then cool. ...

Hey Dave and guys, I may as usual be showing my ignorance here. Not that I'll be able to afford any of Dave's products anytime soon, but I like to think about new things, and this seems promising to me. Wouldn't a heat conductive core, one that may even exit the top of the chassis to create a stack ...
